Green Futures is a Buckinghamshire based project that will support the local green economy, better address youth unemployment and reconnect young people to land and nature.
Feedback has been funded by the Rothschild Foundation to support organisations to better connect local young people to the green economy. We aim to do this in three ways:
- Create new local career pathways into the Green Economy for young people from minority groups, challenging or disadvantaged backgrounds.
- Careers advice and support, through safe and empowering experiences for young people aged 11-17 years from marginalised backgrounds.
- Support organisations to trial new collaborative projects which support young people to develop green employability skills and enhance the local food and farming sector.
