Take action to stop a megafarm which is hiding its colossal climate impact

Cranswick PLC is planning to build a huge US-style megafarm in West Norfolk — one of the largest factory farms in Europe.

What's worse is that, despite the colossal climate impact this facility would cause, Cranswick chose not to include greenhouse gas emissions in its planning application.

This means the true climate cost and irreversible envronmental harm have been hidden from the public. With scientists warning that critical tipping points are dangerously close, we cannot allow industrial agribusiness to keep this information from the public and plough ahead with an environment-wrecking proposal.

We also believe — having sought legal advice — that the Council is acting unlawfully by not requiring a greenhouse gas assessment as part of this application.
